ABOUT
Meet Willie, our expert with over 14 years of experience in the welding inspection, fabrication and compliance field.
His extensive background encompasses:
- Welding Quality Management Systems,
- Non-Destructive Testing (VT, MT, PT, UTWT),
- Petrochemical project, including Turbines, Pressure Vessels and Piping,
- Power Generation, with a focus on Boilers, Heat Exchangers and Valves.
Willie’s skills extend to Welding and Fabrication, Structural and Material Compliance, Inspection and Mechanical Testing, ensuring that every project adheres to stringent standards.
Willie formerly held IANZ signatory status for both mechanical testing and inspections for a well-known third-party inspection body, Qualification and Approvals of Welding Procedures including Welder Certifications for numerous Bridge Projects and Material Certificate Reviews and Compliance for DHB Projects in New Zealand.
With an IWI-S Senior Welding Inspectors’ Diploma and a recognised HERA certified AS 2214 Welding Supervisor, Willie is well-equipped to deliver reliable structural welding inspection, certification and compliance services.
As a HERA member and Willie being well-known in the welding industry, he stays current with industry trends, techniques and technologies, providing clients with up-to-date and trustworthy solutions for all their fabrication and project requirements.
